All of these symptoms interfere with daily life and pose safety risks for the individual experiencing them. Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia. At Ambiance at Maitland, residents have access to three chef-prepared meals served daily in the main dining room as part of our daily routine. Our certified dementia caregivers and staff approach mealtimes with extra care for our memory care residents, focusing on multi-sensory dietary plans that emphasize nourishment and hydration and familiar dishes. Consistent schedules ensure no missed meals, soft foods aid chewing and swallowing, and our dining area is designed to reduce distractions.
Memory care studios start at $6,170 per month, inclusive of all personalized care that is needed by the resident. Choose from two different layouts with newly renovated quality flooring, countertops, and fixtures. Each studio is equipped with a personal bathroom, individual controlled thermostat, and cable/WiFi. Included in the monthly fee, Ambiance at Maitland residents receive weekly linen and housekeeping services, three chef-prepared meals daily, and a robust sensory-infused engagement program to promote cognition and stimulate memory recall.
Memory care and assisted living at Ambiance at Maitland are designed for different levels of care. Assisted living is for residents who want to maintain their independence, but still need daily living support, self-administered medication management, and friendly meal/activity reminders. Our self-contained memory care neighborhood is equipped to meet the unique needs of those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other form of memory loss. In our safe and secure neighborhood we approach dining and engagement with more individualized care.
Ambiance at Maitland Memory Care maintains a ratio of 1 staff caregiver to every 8-10 residents, depending on the acuity of the residents. This allows our staff to provide individualized services to help each resident enjoy the best of each day with dignity, respect, and personalized care. Your loved one will be taken care of by highly trained staff in a welcoming, comfortable environment.
Memory care residents have access to diverse daily engagement activities that present opportunities to engage with their community of friends and neighbors. From aromatherapy and art programming, to animal therapy and outings to local events, Ambiance at Maitland provides life-enriching ways to experience the best each day has to offer.
Ambiance at Maitland takes safety and security very seriously, especially for our residents who need memory care support. Our memory care neighborhood promotes a lifestyle of choice and self-direction within a specially designed environment that provides appropriate boundaries and opportunities. We have invested in cutting-edge technology including audio speakers in common areas, video surveillance of entry points, and an emergency call system. Your loved one will be safe with our team, whether they are perusing the various amenity spaces or strolling within the enclosed courtyard.
Florida Medicaid does not cover 100% of memory care at Ambiance at Maitland. However, the Florida Medicaid Diversion program can help offset the cost.
